FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Are you having a hard time paying bills? HOODLUM can help with up to $500. We will assess each situation on a case-by-case basis. If you have a rent request, you must first apply for emergency assistance with the county that you are living in. Please include a copy of your eviction letter in your request. 

If you need utility assistance, you must apply for Energy Assistance. Please include your shut off notice in your request. 

If you need a car repair, this must be done by one of our approved mechanics. HOODLUM will set this up once you have been approved for assistance. 

HOODLUM has a social worker that can help you apply for programs and give you additional resources. Please send us an email if you would like to connect with our social worker. 

Please note that it can take up to a month for your request to be approved.
